The first week I had the prompter I had a shoot for the CEO of a fortune 1000 company. The system was so simple to assemble and use, I had one of my interns run it during the shoot. It’s easy to read screen allowed the CEO to be more relaxed, and we quickly banged out good takes of his speech. After the shoot, their marketing person said the last time they did this on their own it took over 60 takes and prompter was the only way to go in the future. Just want to take a moment to thank you for your outstanding help when we needed to get the teleprompter from Houston to Dallas in diversion of the Hurricane Ike. It arrived safely and in a timely fashion, I believe that without your interception and assistance it would have never arrived in time for the video shoot. We worked it hard ALL DAY Saturday and proved to be a valuable asset on the set. We actually were able to cram 2 days of location photography into to one with the help of the WS-17. I have used many different types of prompters over the years, but this one by far is the best one I have used. I love the fact that it is light-weight and easy to assemble. The software is so easy to use! We look forward to using it again and again.

In the process of setting up a chromakey studio for the first time, I knew that I would need a telepromptor. I bought your Telemax 15 and had it set up in no time. I copy and pasted my first written script from Publisher to your software and had it on the screen scrolling in a matter of minutes. I laughed it was so easy and I was talking to myself because I was intimidated at first about this whole process. I set the time and was reading a practice session so easily my head was spinning. I can read the text clearly on the scroll on the 15 inch monitor. Just don't forget to switch the text from black to white when you copy and past it. That's obvious. The great thing is you can practice by yourself and if you are getting into this, you better practice your script. I use my wireless mouse to start and stop the scroll. We are using two cameras, a large Sony and a palm size Canon. Both just screw onto the mount and you adjust it up and down as needed with set thumbscrews. When you begin setting up the system, it's obvious that you need to balance the camera and telepromptor on the tripod. Don't even think of using a light weight tripod for this. When I practice onto tape I play it back, judge how it sounds and edit the script and redo it to see if it sounds better. I use color coded text to remind me to change inflection or move about. You'll get the idea when you start. People are not born with the skill of using a telepromptor. Even if you are an excellent speaker, you will need to learn how communicate with a telepromptor. It's way different than being in front of an audience. Ed sold me the hardware and software, but I need to learn the skills on my own. So will you. This telepromptor will open a whole new world of communication for you. I am not exagerating. I guarantee it! Anyone who is thinking of this type of equipment for their company should pull the trigger. Ed you told me I could do it and you were so right. Do you think I am a happy customer? I've been a freelance teleprompter operator for over 8 years, and have used many different prompter programs, and I have to say yours is by far the best overall value. One thing that impresses me the most is the 'instant' transition from edit to prompt mode, which saves a LOT of time on a shoot when a client is constantly changing a script(almost all other software has some length of annoying 'delay' switching between them), or for making changes on the-fly during a read-through(and the record rehearsal feature is BRILLIANT!). The fact that it is written for Mac makes me really happy:>), because that means STABILITY, unlike so many Windows based systems, which seem to crash intermittently,
(try imagining that happen during a live event/speech), and the fact you get 4 licenses is amazing. The other major feature I have to mention is the ability of the software to reverse the second monitor in case yours doesn't have a horizontal reverse feature built into it. I highly recommend this software to anyone considering getting it, you won't find a better value for the money, period.

I was skeptical about buying this prompter because, after having done a lot of research, there was no other prompter that was this size at anything close to this price. It seemed too good to be true. But the software came highly recommended, so I thought I would take a chance. I am so glad that I did.
This thing sets up easily, came with a name brand monitor, and is more customizable than other, higher-priced prompters I have used. That's important to me, since I need it to work for many different cameras. It is solidly constructed and well-thought out.
The software is simple and intuitive, allowing you to set and skip to chapter marks, use a variety of fonts, sizes and colors, and adjust speed and smoothness like a pro after just a few minutes.
My only regret about this product is that we didn't buy it sooner. It would have paid for itself by now!

I have been looking for a good teleprompter to add to my video production tools. I read some good reviews about this company on DVXUSER. I called and talked with the owner who was very honest and helpful. Call them if you have questions. I have used other Teleprompters that cost much more, but these are just as good if not better. The Software is the best. I already had a KEYSPAN Clicker for Power Point and it works great with this software. You will want to get the case to carry it if you do not already have one. I bought the Telmax 15 (steel).

The only thing cheap about this teleprompter is the name. Before I found these guys, I bought another brand that was more expensive, but it was much heavier and poorly designed, so I returned it. Then I found Edward's company. I am delighted. It is more than I expected and comparable to a $2200 unit I bought several years ago. The delivery was prompt and the product well packaged. These guys are great, and Edward seems to be a human Energizer Bunny with his quick solutions and fast service! One additional service that we all need to offer our clients that are in front of the camera or audience; just because you are reading from a teleprompter, the work is not over. The "reader" needs to be familiar with the script and needs to be able to make it not sound like they are reading. The software is perfect and actually helps the reader. Is there a list of guidelines out there, or some training, at least some suggestions? You'd think someone giving a speech would know that. Well, I know better than that. We still need some suggestions so that can improve, and I certainly know that some will try to improve their delivery.
This company on the other hand, improves itself before we see the need! Keep it up guys!

I have had my prompter for over a year now, and have used it countless times. Both the hardware and the software have worked flawlessly, and have made me look good many times to my clients. If I had any not-so-positive comment, it would be the fomecore side panels are not very easy to line up sometimes, and do not adhere as well as they could. But, the rest of the unit is very solid, well-built and easy to set up. I love how the camera platform works to allow for everything from my little Sony Z1 up to my s270u. Very solid, very stable. Also, thanks again for getting the unit out so quickly when I needed it (you even painted the frame that day to get it out that evening). Great product, great people. Six months ago we purchased the TELMAX OS15 Teleprompter, and have been nothing but pleased with this product. It has worked flawlessly and is the easiest, to set up and use teleprompter I have ever used. We produce educational DVD’s with well-known artists covering all mediums in the fine arts fields. While these artists may be quite versed in their fields when the lights go on and the taping starts many time they freeze up, since we added the OS15 to our production tools we have not had many issues filming non-professionals. The results have been better, faster, cleaner productions. Our editing time has been reduced by as much a 50% and our customs are much happier, as we see in the responses we receive. So all in all the addition of this product has been one of the best decisions I have made this year.

This has been a great purchase for us. Setting it up is easy, do it 3 times and you got it. The software works great, and again a bit of practice goes a long way, set it up a couple of times to make sure you can do it in the field quickly.
We bought this after renting one a few times, in one year it paid for itself twice and it's better than the one we rented.
